Being the country music fan that I am, I could be a little bias in saying that a Christmas song is always better when sung by a country artist. Bing Crosby did a fine job singing "Silent Night", but when Alan Jackson sings it I get goosebumps. The Nat King Cole version of "Away In a Manger" was good, but Martina McBride makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand when she belts it out. Just something about the steel guitar and a little twang that gives you the Grandma's house on a snowy Christmas Eve feeling. Country artists have also been very creative when it comes to Christmas tunes.
