Pork Loin Dinner Fundraiser- 5-7 p.m. - Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, 305 N. Cleveland Ave., Loveland.  Dinner is a fundraiser for cancer aid research.  $7 a plate.

Dunkleberger Cancer Benefit- 6-10 p.m. - Berthoud Community Center, 248 Welch Ave., Berthoud.  There will be a sock hop, silent auction, door prizes, ice cream parlor, and more.  Benefit for Zach Dunkleberger's travel to Texas for treatment.  $10 adults, 12 and under free!

Hunting for Meteors- 6:15 - midnight.   Soapstone Prairie Natural Area, 25 miles north of Fort Collins.  Registration is required.  meet at the picnic shelter.  Discover fun facts about the Orionids Meteor Shower and then watch the sky for these shooting lights.  Drees warmly, bring water and snacks, and a blanket or chair to sit on.  No cost.  Call 217-3075 or email dprice@fcgov.comwww.fcgov.com/naturalareas .
