Saturday at the 50th ACM Awards With Brian and Todd [PICTURES]

It was pouring rain when we arrived in Dallas Friday night, so we didn't even try to go to "Party for a Cause".  We just went back to the hotel and prepared for an incredible Saturday at the 50th Annual ACM Awards celebration.

We started the day on Saturday by picking up our tickets for the awards show.  We also got free tickets to "Party for a Cause" and the awards show after-party for being nominees for ACM Small Market Personalities of the year.

What an amazing day! We had a chance meeting with Jeff Cook from Alabama at our hotel.  He ended up playing some of his own music for us and talking for over an hour. What a treat.

The radio awards at Globe Life Park were also a highlight of our trip to Texas. Even though we didn't bring home the hardware, we were still given the royal treatment in a private party with wonderful food and a one-on-one encounter with John Rich of Big and Rich.

From there we had a van pick us up and take us to a private party for Kid Rock at the "World Famous Milo's Bar - Arlington's Best Upscale Dive and Patio".  He was great. We all got a little face-time with the man who calls himself "Bobby".  My wife and I took a whole bunch of pictures that tell the story better than I do.
