Rist Canyon Volunteer Fire Department Looking For Donations

Make plans to join the RCVFD [Rist Canyon Volunteer Fire Department] this Tuesday for a 'Cruise In' fundraiser from 6p to 9p as they collect donations to help offset their cost fighting the High Park Fire.

The event will take place at Bob’s Coffee Shop in La Porte starting at 6pm and RCVFD Treasurer Richard Lund will be on hand to collect donations and shake hands.

Please keep in mind that these brave firefighters who spent countless hours saving homes up through Rist Canyon, Buckhorn Road and Stove Prairie run soley on donations.  They cover about 120 square miles and can't do it without your help.

This would be a great way to say thanks to these brave hero's and go shake some hands.
