Trey Gowdy is what I would call a bulldog of and for the people. He wants answers on Benghazi and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is at the top of the list.

On Friday, February 6, Gowdy, who is the South Carolina Representative and Benghazi committee chairman, sent a letter (which you can read in full below) to lay down the law and what was expected. Subpoenas are still on stand-by if needed, and we will get some answers here before 2015 is over. Answers... we want answers!

I think we can all agree that the attack on the U.S. Embassy in Benghazi, Libya that killed four Americans was unwarranted and not necessary. I think most of us can also agree that many who should be held responsible for their actions, or lack of, that led to the attack should be held accountable.

Gowdy wants some answers, and will be uncovering every rock he can. Many are being subpoenaed, but there are a select few, like former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who have refused to turn over their notes. However, she will be forced to if she doesn't voluntarily turn them in.

Although the Obama administration is now allowing the Benghazi committee access to some key role players, some of the heavy hitters (Clinton to name one) is still refusing to truly help. In case you forgot, she did utter the phrase, "...what difference does it make at this point" when she was first questioned in 2013. She followed that up with "It is our job to figure out what happened and do everything we can to prevent it from ever happening again, Senator" but still refuses to comply with requests to relinquish all her documents from that time-frame. .

Really? What's the point? What's the difference? This coming from the same person who lied about being under sniper fire on a tarmac that was later proved to be a lie yet somehow continued with her career. It took Brian Williams a week to be out of a job for doing the same thing.

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but when you have failed at something, there are consequences... that's the point! American lives were lost. Lives, not garbage!

One witness to be questioned is Cheryl Mills, Clinton’s former chief of staff while at the State Department. Others are Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Martin Dempsey, former Defense Secretary and CIA director Leon Panetta, former deputy secretary of State Bill Burns, and former White House spokesman Jay Carney - Political Insider via The Blaze

I can't wait to see how this plays out. Clinton, as we all know, is seriously considering a run for the presidency in 2016, but this may have already blown those chances; especially if she has to come clean about why, and what exactly happened, in the security issues that led to the Benghazi attack in 2012 under her watch.
