School starts and the relaxed summer schedule goes out the door. You want to make dinner, but now you have to make dinner and it has to be done by a certain time cause there is homework, sports, baths and bedtimes-what's a family to do? Smash it up with a hamburger dish that is done in a dash.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

4 Medium baked potatoes (I cook mine till almost done in microwave and then throw in a heated 400 degree oven for about 10-15 minutes), 1 can of cream of mushroom soup or 1 can cream of chicken (your preference here, I don't care for cream of mushroom so I always use cream of chicken), 1 pound of hamburger and a small grated onion.

PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER:

Brown the ground beef with the grated onion (onion gives this great flavor, I say grated as a lot of kids don't like onions, but if grated, they'll never know) add a pad of butter, can of creamed soup, half a can of water or milk, salt and pepper. Cut potatoes in half add a pad of butter (optional) and top with meat mixture and if you like, cheddar cheese (and my friend Holly, who was the inspiration for this dish says adding sour cream makes it even yummier)

ENJOY!
