Recipe Rescue: Fast, Quick And Simple; Now That’s Dinner!
Sometimes I think about dinner too much and too hard, tonight let's go simple and tasty. Did I mention relatively inexpensive too? Let's get shredding!
What You'll Need:
1-2 lbs chicken tenders,
chopped bite sized
(about 2 medium tenders per
person, from grocery deli
or in the frozen section)
romaine lettuce, chopped
(2 or 3 heads)
2 large tomatoes, chopped
1 medium red onion, chopped1/2 cup Franks Red Hot/Buffalo Wing Sauce
How To Put It Together:
if you bought the frozen
tenders cook them per instructions,
let cool and chop.
chop lettuce, tomato and onion.
mix together in large salad bowl
warm the hot sauce for about 30
seconds or until it pops (covered)
mix the chopped chicken with the
hot sauce and top salad(s)
(I usually make individual plates
or bowls of salad and top with the
chicken)
*optional addition: grated cheddar cheese
