Starting this summer, we won't be getting any mail over the weekend. That's probably not a big deal but I will miss my mail delivery person.  As I work during the week, I met Nancy on her route on a Saturday.  She drove a little white jeep with the steering wheel on the
right side so she could just pull off  the gravel road and stuff our mailbox with ease.
Rural mail delivery offered very little interaction UNLESS  a package didn't fit in the mailbox.  Some might just leave the package near the box but not Nancy.  She
would pull up to the house and honk...bless her heart.

According to Postmaster General Patrick Donahoe the US Postal Service will stop all mail delivery on Saturdays due to budget issues. This move is expected to save $2 billion. Will this affect you? See the story here: USA Today
