It was on this date 50 years ago in 1965 that we were introduced to Pop Tarts. I cannot imagine what early morning radio announcers did for breakfast before these bad boys were invented. I have given them up the last year or two but I am sure there are still a few pounds of undigested tarts floating around in me.

I am rather particular when it comes to my Pop Tarts. My favorite without a doubt is brown sugar cinnamon and I like to cook them until they are just a little overdone around the edges. I then eat around the edge leaving a rectangle of border-less iced deliciousness. A very large glass of cold milk is an awesome companion to these tasty devils.
