Photos of 2017 Longs Peak Scottish-Irish Highland Festival [PICTURES]
My wife and I spent Sunday afternoon at the Longs Peak Scottish-Irish Highland Festival in Estes park. We saw Celtic music, jousting, Irish & Highland dancing, a working sheep dog demonstration, the Highland Games and more among some of the most beautiful scenery in the Word. The highlight of our day was visiting with members of the Scottish Clans, we even had a visit from the Eljebel Shrine Pipe Band from Denver while we were there.
We also visited the living history part of the festival, including a blacksmith, a weaver, birds of prey and a woman spinning yarn. The area also had armor and sword play. Very cool.
My lovely wife, Jenny, took some great pictures.
