Parmalee hails from South Carolina and the small town of Parmalee.  The band is comprised of brothers Matt Thomas on lead vocals/guitar and Scott Thomas who plays drums. They are joined by cousin Barry Knox on bass and Josh McSwain also on guitar.  Wow!  Love these guys and I think you will too.

Be definition the word Parmalee means,

A wrench that has a smooth segmented sleeve that when tightly clamped around the tube of a core barrel, will not mar or distort the thin tube when the core barrel is taken apart.

Not sure what that has to do with a country rock band but who cares, I love 'em!

There isn't much to tell on the band due to little information floating around. We do know Parmalee is signed to Stoney Creek Records which is a division of Broken Bow Records. They released "Musta Had a Good Time" early this year and were also featured as a Billboard “Bubbling Under” artist.
