You may remember the location as the Vault or most recently the Astoria Bar. Now the new Cache Old Town Bar & Grille calls this great space in the old bank building along College Avenue home.

Bryan Smith and Mandi Clawson have changed a few things about the space, they've painted the walls, added some televisions and updated the underground piping. Smith and Clawson have invested around $100-thousand dollars in the 108-year-old building to bring their dream alive.

The menu, which is lighter and more refreshing than you may expect from a bar. In fact, Smith says there are only three deep fried items on the menu. The Coloradoan reports that the Cache Old Town Bar & Grille will feature tempura avocado instead of french fries and will offer grilled bacon-wrapped onions verses onion rings.

This new lunch, dinner and late-night spot will be local, clean and fresh. The goal is to use local products and ingredients, products and ingredients from as close to home as  possible.

The Cache Old Town Bar & Grille is now open at 146 North College Avenue in Old Town Fort Collins.
