Newcomer Kristy Lee Cook Writes New Song About Her Dad Called Airborne Ranger Infantry [VIDEO]

Kristy Lee Cook was born and raised in the beautiful Pacific Northwest city of Seattle, Washington. Kristy placed 7th, ironically, on the 7th season of American Idol. As you can see from the feature photo, she has great respect for the military and her new song, "Airborne Ranger Infantry" is clear evidence of how she feels about it.

In 2005 Kristy Lee Cook released her debut album called 'Devoted.'

The new single called "Airborne Ranger Infantry" is about her Father who proudly served and will be on an upcoming album in 2013. The song was written about here Dad who served in Vietnam but like many, never talked about when he came home.

Kristy had read some poems and things he wrote and so she wrote the song which includes lines from those poems.
