I love how sports can touch the heart. I have cried watching teams celebrate victory and teared up as they feel a loss. Emotion is part of the game. This story touched me deeper than any in some time.

Kevin Grow is an 18 year old young man with Down Syndrome. He has been the team manager for his high school team for the past 4 years. On the last game of the season the coach of the team decided to let Kevin play the final 2 minutes of the game. Kevin scored 14 points!!!! He even hit three 3-pointers including a buzzer beater. I admire the heck out of Kevin and his attitude and the light he shines on the world. He proves that no matter how you were made you have the ability to brighten the world. Kevin is doing that.

This story gets even cooler as the Philadelphia 76ers heard about Kevin's story and decided to sign him to a 2 day contract. He was announced as a member of the team, got his own jersey and even a locker. I am now a huge fan of the 6ers. That was pure class. Check out the videos here and learn from Kevin that we all can achieve whatever we put our minds to. You are an inspiration young man.

Here is Kevin's big night in Philly
