I am always so blown away at how wonderful you are to me. I am so lucky to have friends like you in my life and I will never take that for granted. You are always there for me when I need you. You have never let me down. I asked for your prayers and positive thoughts on Monday for my wife Kyla and believe me, I could feel them.

I won't go into detail about my wife's health because that is a personal thing but I will tell you that she has been battling some internal pain and due to that condition or the medicines or some unexplained reason, she had lost some of her memory. My daughter had called me to tell me that my wife was very confused and couldn't remember things that she had just told her. I rushed home and found her looking lost. She knew who we were and things like that, but had no recollection of things that happened over the last few weeks and could not retain anything you would tell her. I was terrified. I have had so many health issues through the years but there is nothing more frightening than the helpless feeling of seeing a loved one so scared and hurting.

I thank all the wonderful folks in the medical profession who were so patient and good at what they do and I thank you for being with us through this scary time for us. My wife woke up yesterday and started to pull back in all the memories that had escaped her the day before. I HAD MY WIFE BACK! When she started to talk about things that had happened, that she had no memory of the day before, I turned to my son and started to weep. What a wonderful moment. We may never know what really happened but I am so grateful to have my wife home with me. Thank you for once again being there for me and my family and thank you to my children for being there for their mom and dad when we needed them most. Life is gift, unwrap it, play with it and be thankful for it.
