    Satruday, August 2 - Colorado State Patrol Academy 5th Annual Poker Memorial Ride

    Registration starts at 11:00 a.m. at the Colorado State Patrol Academy (15055 S. Golden Road) in Golden. Cost is $30 per bike / $15 per passenger. You can register online at and save money by following the above link. The ride will include a wreath laying and moment of silence at the Jefferson County Sherriff’s Department in Recognition of SGT Baldwin EOW January 26, 2014.     Saturday, August 2 - 5th Annual Poker Run for Suicide Prevention and Awareness

    Join the Laramie Fraternal Order of Eagles / Eagle Riders #3493 for their 5th annual poker run for suicide prevention and awareness. Registration begins at 10:00 a.m. at the Eagles Fraternal Order (126 E Lyons St.) in Laramie, Wyoming. The ride will leave as a group around 10:45 a.m. and all proceeds raised will benefit the Laramie Head Start and Laramie Developmental Daycare.

    Saturday, August 16 - Harley's and Hot Rods Poker Run

    This poker run is for all bikes and cars. The event will raise money for Pat McGoldrick, who is fighting Melanoma skin cancer. Registration starts at 9:00 a.m. at The Hideout Patio Bar and Grill in Fort Collins. Cost is $20 driver, $5 passenger and $5 for extra hand's.     Sunday, August 17 - Triangle Cross Ranch Poker Run

    Join the Greeley HOG Chapter - 1462 on Sunday, August 17 for their annual poker run to benefit the Triangle Cross Ranch. Registration starts at 9:00 a.m. at Greeley Harley-Davidson (3010 W 29th St) with a cost of $15 per hand or $20 for two. The event ends at The New Plantation (3520 11th Ave) in Evans. Triangle Cross Ranch provides assisted and supported living services for adults with developmental disabilities. They are located on 20 acres of Colorado farm land and give their Ranchers the very best in rural living and outdoor activities.

    Saturday, Auugst 23 - 9/11 Flight Crew Memorial Motorcycle Ride

    This ride was supposed to be a one-time event; it's now in it's 10th year. This ride is one of my favorite rides all year. The ride honors the 9-11 Flight Crew. The ride starts at the Colorado National Speedway and is a 100 mile parade ride...no stops, no lights etc. and ends back at the Speedway where your admission gets you and your bike on the track for a parade ride and lots of fun. Registration is from 12:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. with the ride leaving shortly after 3:30 p.m. and back around 6:00 p.m. The ride takes about 2 1/2 hours.

    Bring your friends out for the 2nd annual Motorcycle Run and Fundraiser.  Registration starts at 9:00 a.m. at The Burnout Grill (1760 Broad St - Unit A) in Milliken. Cost is only $20 per rider/$10 for a passenger. The run ends at The Hideout in Fort Collins with a silent auction, door prizes, and awards for high and low hands.     This year's event at the "New" Plantation (3520 11th Ave) in Evans, Colorado will include a dyno shootout hosted by Colorado Mobile Dyno / Windsor Performance & Exhaust to benefit a local non-profit. Free admission, free bike show and vendors. $25 vendor spaces (10 x 10) and $50 bike show sponsorships - comes with a free booth and your business name on the trophies in that class. The event runs from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
