If you've ever flown on an airplane with a small child you may want to stand up and take this mothers side. She was kicked off of the plane with her five-month old baby after a non-violent confrontation with a flight attendant.

Stop us if you've heard the story about the kid on your flight that won't stop kicking your seat, crying or leaning over your seat... there are plenty of reasons why one might think that a woman and her child would, could or should be ask to get off the plane, but this is a bit of a different tale.

Imagine being a first time mom with a five-month old baby, now think about flying alone with that baby for the first time. You can't help but be a bit unsettled, out of sorts and irritable. We aren't making excuses for what happened on this particular flight, just pointing out that every mom, or most moms, can at least put themselves in the mindset of this woman.

According to Fox News, Nicki Gazlay had just boarded a plane on the second leg of her trip to Memphis, Tenn when she was told to remove her son from his baby carrier that was strapped to her. Gazlay had not been asked to remove him on her earlier flight and was asking the flight attendant questions about the request. As Gazlay tells the story, the flight attendant was short and rude to her, telling her that she will remove the child from the baby carrier. Gazlay said of course I will you are the "queen" of the plane. That is when the flight attendant told her that she and her son would have to leave the plane.

Gazlay and her son had to buy another ticket on a separate airline to get to Memphis.

The woman should not have said what she said to the flight attendant, but this conversation should have never gotten to this point. What do you think?

Sound Off!
