I wrote a story about about a month ago on a local hero who needs our help and coming up Saturday, November 8, you can feed your family and help a U.S. Army 82nd Airborne Ranger at the same time.

Mike "Ski" Adamczewski has served our country proudly and has helped protect our freedom and did so with full vigor. Now, it's time to give back and help a local hero.

"Ski" is a local veteran who lives in Fort Collins and and has been battling Stage 4 Colon Cancer. As you can imagine, dealing with the V.A. in both Cheyenne and Denver has not been an easy task and Mike and his family could use some help; it's the least we can do.

We have to eat anyway, so please make plans to join Mike, his family and friends with your family and friends on Saturday, November 8 for a spaghetti dinner at the Loveland VFW (305 N Cleveland Ave) starting at 5:00 p.m. for only $15 per plate. There will also be a cash bar and an awesome silent auction including a Black Powder rifle, Spring 44 vodka (made in Lovleand with our own Rocky Mountain water), art and much more.

If you can't make the fundraiser dinner, you can donate online by clicking on the big red link below or you can donate to any Wells Fargo bank. .
