March Snowstorm Blasts Fort Collins [PICTURES]

Snow Covered Bushes from Northern Colorado Spring Snowstorm

We got just about 7 inches at our house

This is one the weather forecasters got right. They were calling for half a foot of snow along the Front Range.  We got 7 inches at our house. The  storm dumped between 4-8 inches of snow on most parts of Northern Colorado. Sub-freezing temperatures are expected to help the snow stick around into Tuesday.

Since the roads were treacherous over the weekend, I stayed home. I didn’t even leave my house on Sunday.  However, I did sneak out with my wife’s camera on Saturday to snap a few photos. Nature can be cruel and beautiful all at the same time, and we needed the moisture.
