The Fort Lupton Police Department says a man tried to abduct a 14-year-old girl Wednesday morning. Police received a 911 call at 7:13 a.m. in reference to an attempted child abduction in the area of Fort Lupton High School.

According to the teen, the man pushed her against a fence, telling her to "Be quiet."  The 14-year-old started punching the man in order to get away, hitting him in the face.
The man returned to his vehicle and fled the scene.

SUSPECT DESCRIPTION

The suspect is described as a tall and thin white male who is approximately 6 feet tall and weighs about 180 pounds. He spoke with a deep voice and was wearing a dark-colored beanie, coat and jeans. His vehicle was described as a light-colored station wagon or SUV with a hatchback, tinted windows and possibly an altered suspension that was lowered to the ground.
