Taylor Swift is being honored by BMI with an award named after her.
The first ever Taylor Swift Award will be presented at the 64th annual BMI Pop Awards on May 10th. The Award will be a recognition of Taylor's incomparable creative and artistic talent and influence on music lovers throughout the world. The award is a pretty big deal as it's only the second time in BMI's 76-year history that the company has presented an award in someone's name. The first was to Michael Jackson in 1990.

Blake Shelton joined several NASCAR drivers at the Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth last week to film the opening for NBC Sports' Sprint Cup race.

Three members of Luke Bryan's stage crew were in a car accident over the weekend. The vehicle carrying the three veered off the road, went airborne, and crashed into a tree. The men were all airlifted to nearby hospitals No word on their conditions, the three had been working at Bryan's concert Saturday night in Syracuse.
