At least 20,000 people will be on hand for Loveland’s fireworks display on the 4th of July, putting the wraps on what looks to be a sunny and hot Independence Day!

The City of Loveland's Independence Day Celebration gets underway at North Lake Park on July 4th, with the Flag Raising Ceremony at 10:00 a.m. It will conclude with the big Fireworks show, which begins at 9:17 p.m.

Throughout the day there will be many vendors- with games, food/drinks/watermelon/ice cream, and information. There will also be a Vintage Car Show featuring 25 classics.

Later that night, folks will be making their way over to the Hammond Amphitheater to see the 80+ person Loveland Concert Band perform starting at 8:00.. Their last song that night will be, as tradition, 'Stars and Stripes Forever'; right when that song ends, the fireworks start! 'Merica!
