It looks as though the Greeley Stampede is off to a great start and the opening weekend was a ton of fun by everyone I know.

I started off my Friday with 3 corn dogs from the Chicken on a Stick place but then again, who doesn't!  From there, it just got better and better.

The weather was just perfect and thanks to the FREE bug spray we offered at our tent everyone was in great spirits and hundreds of us all smelled the same.   It was a beautiful thing...

The night shows we presented were much better than I thought.  Now I'm not much of a concert goer as I'd rather sit backstage and eat corn dogs and watch the happenings but Little Big Town was the exception.  Unbelievable!  When it comes to harmony and just having it together Little Big Town has it going on.  The only thing comparable to me are the Eagles and 7 Bridges Road.  I didn't get to see much of Rodney Atkins as I had to head home for kid detail but I did stop for another corn dog on the way out.

Saturday was just as cool and the Clint Black show was off the hook.  I was amazed at how long he has been doing this and the songs he did sounded as fresh as they day they were pressed into a record; yes, they were records when he started.

Amazing concerts both Friday and Saturday but Little Big Town has my vote for best show so far.

Coming up this weekend there are more shows that could rival them for my "best of."  Coming in Friday night is Chris Young and Steel Magnolia {I am thinking S.M. might overtake that #1 best of spot} then Saturday it's legendary rockers Cheap Trick and Blue Oyster Cult...both whom I've seen several times "back in the day."
