John King Wins Over New From Nashville Crowd at Boot Grill (PICTURES)

The New From Nashville shows have all been great and last night was no exception.  John King hasn't even released his 1st single to radio yet, but he won over the crowd at the Boot Grill with songs like "Hooker Shoes" and the single, "Tonight Tonight"! (The crowd was even singing along!)

John told Brian and me that his musical influences ranged from Waylon Jennings, who you can see on his t-shirt, to James Taylor, who you could hear in his voice. John writes most of his songs, but also did some killer covers too, like Zac Brown Band's "Chicken Fried" and Waylon's "Dukes of Hazzard Theme".
