If you like free donuts with your coffee, you’re very much in luck.

Happy birthday to the Centennial State!  This day in 1876, Ulysses S. Grant signed Colorado into a state.

It also means free entrance to state parks.

You can also get free desserts and other deals including admission at some museums.

Here’s more!

Two other random facts:

  • It’s my anniversary today.
  • Ulysses S. Grant was my 2nd cousin.  (True story.)

So, thanks Cous, for putting the big Colorado celebration on my big day!
