If You Believe, Join Me Today for the National Day of Prayer – Brian’s Blog

I have no issues saying that I am a prayerful person. I am not a big believer in church or organized religion but have my own very personal relationship with a higher power. I do not believe I need to go to a building to have an open dialogue with my God. I feel his presence with me all the time and I talk to him like a friend. I never have to look, I know he is there. That is my belief and I am entitled to it. I ask for guidance every day to be the best me I can be and be helpful where needed. It never fails to help me feel prepared. I know whenever I hit my knees and ask for help, I get help. It may not be in the form I was thinking it would show up as but if you are alert and tuned in the answers are right in front of you.

Today is the National Day of Prayer. It is a day for prayerful people to come together and pray for a better world and healing for all who need it. I am not one to preach or push beliefs on anyone. If you feel it, hit your knees and join me, if not, no sweat. I have too much to be thankful for and have been the beneficiary of people’s prayers too many times to not join in.
