The Queen of Country Music turns 82 years old today. There is only one sweet Loretta Lynn and she celebrates another birthday today. There is not a woman in country music who doesn't owe a tip of the hat to Loretta. She will always be the standard that all other female vocalists will be measured by.

Susan tells the story of the time she met Loretta on a cruise ship. Susan had just met Captain Kangaroo and was tearing up about meeting him when she climbed in an elevator. She was drying her tears when Loretta Lynn walked in the elevator and put her arm around Susan telling her that it would all be okay. She had no idea Susan was crying about meeting Captain Kangaroo. How sweet is that?
