It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of the passing of an incredible American hero. Colonel Stan Cass passed away over the weekend. Stan was an such a special man. He was a wonderful friend, family man and soldier among many other things. He was responsible for getting Honor Flight Northern Colorado running and lived to honor the men and women who did what he did and served this country selflessly.

I am honored to have called the Colonel my friend and his smile and kind heart is missed already but he left a legacy that will live on forever. Here is the information on the services for Colonel Cass which I found on the Honor Flight Northern Colorado Facebook page.
