Hearts and Horses Recieves a $94,500 Donation

Hearts & Horses Therapeutic Riding Center west of Loveland continues to give to our community through programs for our citizens. The new Hearts and Horses for Heroes program gives veterans struggling from the effects of war and post traumatic stress disorder the opportunity to choose a horse partner to serves as an aid in emotional and behavioral work and healing. In January, the George Kroh Charitable Trust donated $94,500 to the center for facilities improvements. This gift will build a new hay barn at the center, opening up barn stalls where it have previously been stored. That’ll make room for more horses as some are nearing retirement. The Loveland Reporter Herald has the story.
Visit Hearts and Horses Website to learn more about their programs.
We here at the radio station have a heart connection with the center…see the Senior Riding Program video HERE.
