Greeley Teen Steals Car, Drives It Through Multiple Businesses

A 19-year-old man broke into at least a dozen cars in Greeley before stealing one and using it to drive through the doors of three different businesses before robbing them.
Robert Eugene Sandoval, 19, of Evans was arrested and will likely face numerous felony charges a string of events began at 3:55 a.m. when officers responded to the Sears store in the Greeley Mall on a report of a burglary. Police discovered that someone had driven a vehicle into the glass doors of the store, entered and took merchandise. Police responded to two more burglary alarms in west Greeley, one at Bittersweet Liquor, 3504 10th St. and later at U.S. Bank, 3690 10th St., according to a Greeley police news release.
Greeley police located the stolen vehicle on 35th Avenue heading out of the city shortly before it crashed. Sandoval remains in the hospital and will face multiple charges after he is released.
