Last fall the Greeley Chorale presented a bronze sculpture to the City of Greeley to commemorate Greeley Chorale’s 50th Anniversary. The dedication of that sculpture will be Tuesday, April 5 at 4:30 p.m. in the lobby of the Union Colony Civic Center.

The sculpture itself sits just outside the entrance to the UCCC. Sculptor Gary Alsum of Loveland will present a brief overview of the creative process which took place in designing the piece.

There will also be a presentation by Randy McSwain, a past president of the Chorale’s Board of Directors who, along with Ron Camp, Dulcie Camp and Brian Underwood, spearheaded the sculpture project for the Chorale.

Also in attendance will be members of the Greeley Art Commission, city staff, and members of the Chorale. The public is invited to attend.
