The massive sinkhole appeared in Guatemala City, Guatemala in 2010 and believed to have been part of the aftermath of the violent tropical storm Agatha that slammed down on Central America. The sinkhole is about 60 feet wide and 300 feet deep and swallowed an entire 3-story factory.

When you think about it, these sinkholes are easily created and over the course of time think of how much weight is being placed on top of some of these areas; it's only a matter of time before we become a Stephen King movie.

In fact, just this past Monday, an entire home in Florida was swallowed by a sinkhole 60' deep.  The family actually threw in some momento's of him and the family has considered that his grave and will erect a memorial bench in his name there. (Read Story/Pictures Here)

Have you ever seen a sinkhole in person?
