Get the Gifts Ready – Next Week the Good Morning Guys Begin 29th Year at K99

Time sure flies when you are having fun and Todd and I have been having fun together for a long long time. Next week, on May 5th, Todd and I will begin our 29th year here at K99. I never could have imagined that would ever happen.

We were put together nearly three decades ago when basically everyone else in the building was fired and Todd and I were the only two warm bodies left. We have seen so much over these years and are so blessed to have been able to share our lives with you. We have been honored to be at your weddings, birthdays, graduations and barbecues. You have made this the greatest job in the world and I hope we have a few more years left together. We work in a business where most people stick around for a two or three years max but we have somehow pulled off nearly three decades. This is a very rare thing in radio, very rare. Susan joined us about 15 years ago and gave us what we were missing for the first decade.

I am so honored to work in our community and on this station. Thank you for making all of our dreams come true. You still have just over a week until the actually anniversary date so still plenty of time to buy the celebratory bacon, jerky or donuts. We will party next Thursday!
