One thing I always admired about my Dad was his grace when it came to fly-fishing. There is an art to it. If you're a beginner, grab your gear and some tips.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife and the Colorado Youth Outdoors is inviting anyone in the Fort Collins area out for a free event at Swift Ponds (4927 E. County Rd. 36, Fort Collins) this Saturday April 19. The fly-fishing class will be conducted by local wildlife officers and they will even provide all the necessary equipment for those who want to see what it's all about before spending money on new gear.

The fly-fishing class starts at 9 a.m. and wraps up around 3 p.m. If you'd like to get registered there is limited space so email shane.craig@state.co.us as their is a limit on attendees. All fishing equipment will be provided for this class. There will be a break for lunch so you can either bring your own or take a break at one of the nearby eateries.
