Benjamin Gilmore has been found guilty of arson, burglary and criminal mischief in the 10 million dollar condo fire. The case had initially attracted a lot of attention as Gilmore, a local beekeeper, was an Occupy Wall Street supporter and was involved in the demonstrations near the eventual arson site. The fire caused 10 million dollars of damage to an apartment complex that was under construction and spread to the Penny Flats Condominiums with residents and a retail space. At least 21 lives were threatened in the fire.

This was the second trial for Gilmore, his first trial in September of 2012 ended in a hung jury. Gilmore was found not guilty in other charges including attempted murder.
