The Larimer Sheriff just tweeted this, confirming that there are two separate fires burning. Thankfully, they say there are now structures in the immediate area of the fires.

Larimer Sheriff: 2 fires confirmed - 5-7 acre #HellsCanyon and 1-2 acre #PoleHill. SEAT ordered. Helicopter working now.

***3:49 PM UPDATE

Sounds like there are two fires burning. The chatter on Twitter indicates one has been called the #HellsCanyon fire west of Pinewood Lake. The second one is named the #PoleHill fire. I haven't heard anything "official" about the names yet, but that's what social media is using thus far.

According to the Larimer County Sheriff's Twitter feed, the fire is estimated at around 5-acres (as of 3:30PM) and they have called in a helicopter and a single engine air tanker for support. They also said there is a possibility of a second fire in the area and access to the blaze(s) is very difficult.

Let's hope they can get this under control quickly. We're sending our best wishes up to the brave man and women working against the flames.

We'll update this story with more details as we get them.
