One of the greatest joys in the world is getting to hang around with a child and hearing what is on their mind and in their hearts. It is such a lovely place. I get that joy daily with my grandsons. I just had the pleasure of enjoying a week off from work and just hanging out at home. I spent some fun time with the boys splashing around in the pool and just laying around.

I have said many times that I was fortunate to have been raised in an 'I love you' kind of home. Those words were said and felt daily in my home growing up and I tried to create the same kind of environment for my children and now my grandchildren to be raised in. There is not a day that goes by that we don't say those three words to each other several times. The other day my oldest grandson Zander and I were laying in the grass catching a little rest when he said "I love you, papa." I said, "I love you more, Zander," and he said "I love you to the moon," to which I said I loved him to the moon and back.

He then looked at me said, "Well, I love you 27."  I said, "27?"  He said 27 was a big number and he loved me 27 times more than I could love him. He now says it all the time. I will say, "Goodnight Zander, I love you," and he will holler back "I love you 27." It melts me every time.
