Sierra’s Race Against Meningitis is committed to prevent bacterial meningitis in our community, through raising awareness, educating the public, and providing free vaccinations. Through these commitments, our goal is to ultimately stop the spread of Bacterial Meningitis so no family or individual should have to endure the effects of this deadly, vaccine-preventable disease.

This year's race will take place on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at the Thomas McKee Building at the Budweiser Events Center (5280 Arena Circle). It is a certified 5K course with IPICO chip timing. There will also be a free vaccination clinic!

  • 5K Run/Walk begins at 8:30 a.m.
  • 5K Pre-Registration: $22 (includes long-sleeved shirt)
  • Kids Fun Run Pre-Registration: $10 (includes t-shirt)
  • Pre-Registration Closing Date: Wed., June 11 @ 6 p.m.
    After this date registrations will be accepted on race day only and cost increases by $10!
  • Awards ceremony immediately following race

If you have already received you Meningitis vaccination, it is now recommended that you receive another vaccine as early as three years after prior vaccination. Children under 18 years old must bring their parent/guardian and if possible, please bring your immunization card!
