Mark your calendars for one of the best events of the year!  The third annual Phantom 4 Miler will take place on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Embassy Suites Loveland.  People and their pets will be dressing up and running to help the homeless dogs, cats, horses and farm animals of Denkai Animal Sanctuary, Larimer Humane Society and Animal House.

The Phantom 4 Miler had its inaugural year in October 2010.  Organizers at Embassy Suites Loveland created the running event with the goal to raise money for Denkai Animal Sanctuary.  The race was a huge success and raised over $6,000 for Denkai!  In 2011, the race grew in size to over 300 runners with many more joining in to cheer their favorite runners on and to participate in the Bone Chilling Breakfast.  In 2011, over $8,000 was raised for Denkai, two dogs were adopted out at this race and one received sponsorship thanks to Dr. Downing of Windsor, Colorado.

The success of the first two years has allowed us to expand in the number of non-profit organizations that the Phantom 4 Miler benefits.  For 2012, the Phantom 4 Miler will benefit not only Denkai Animal Sanctuary but also the Larimer Humane Society and Animal House.
