KUAD City Cancer Walk
Additional Information
The main focus and inspiration of this event is to celebrate the lives of our loved ones that have battled cancer and won as well as in loving remembrance of our loved ones that have been taken from us by this terrible disease.
We ask that you join us on September 24th 2011 at Water Valley golf course & housing development. The entire day will be filled with a variety of live music & entertainment, as well as great food and refreshments. All you need to bring with you is a positive attitude and a good pair of walking shoes.
The walking course is a multi surface of pavement/sidewalks, grass & gravel and is approx. 1 mile in total length. We do request that a member of your team is walking on the course at all times. Teams may bring a canopy or tent for shade or rainy weather.
Minimum Cost $100.00 per Team Member, Maximum UNLIMITED
Example:
Team has 10 members your goal is to raise a BASE Team Donation of $1000.00)
Teams are encouraged to raise funds up to the date of the event. However the BASE Team Donation must be turned in by Sept. 10th 2011
The proceeds from this event will benefit Colorado Families that are Battling Cancer through Zac’s Legacy Foundation & The Barlow Foundation.
