Greeley’s annual Oktoberfest

Friday, September 28 and Saturday, September 29

Lincoln Park in historic Downtown Greeley at 8th Street & 9th Avenue.

The kick-off is Friday evening from 5-10 pm for some great beer, brats, games, and a free concert featuring The Tom Allan Duo and headliner BeatGrass with their new twist on the bluegrass sound. Sign up for our first ever “Iron-Man Stein Lifting” contest and pick up your annual collector’s ceramic ½ liter and 1 liter Oktoberfest steins with featured artwork by Steven Held!

Saturday from 11am to 8pm. Enjoy polka, crafts, German music, a wide variety of craft brews from Crabtree Brewery, Oskar Blues, and Boulder Beer, and food from more than a dozen food vendors.

New this year is a VIP tasting tent from 1-4 Saturday. Sample reserve beers from craft brewers for only $30! Price includes a commemorative tasting glass, food samples, a meet-and-greet with professional brewers and two beer tokens to spend! Tickets are available at the DDA office, 802 9th St. and will be available at the event.

Oktoberfest is a family-friendly event and offers a great Children’s Area with an inflatable slide, giant bubble tower, obstacle course, pumpkins to decorate, face painting and lots of games to play. And of course, there are games for big “kids” too including life-size beer pong, pie-eating contests, and volleyball. Additionally, there will be a wide variety of arts and crafts for perusal and purchase.
