The determination of the Germans from Russia immigrants is a truly awe-inspiring story. Global Village Museum hosts a special three-part series showcasing some of the stories, music, and tribulations the immigrants faced during their relocation from Germany to Russia and finally to America (North and South). On Jan 7th videos include: “Heinrich & Magdanlena’s Fabulous Adventure,” “We Don’t Forget: Germans From Russia in South America,” and “Norka: A Passage of Time.” The Germans from Russia heritage is featured in “Europe: Tales & Traditions” exhibit in our Main Gallery.
