2015 R-2 Golf Scramble Fund Raising Event

Everyone is welcomed to join us in our efforts to raise money for the Wildland Firefighter Foundation. Registration will begin September 13, 2015 and end October 15, 2015.

For the past 10 years the Interagency Hotshot Crews from the Rocky Mountain Area have been organizing and hosting a fundraising event benefitting the Wildland Firefighter Foundation. Every year wildland firefighters risk, and sometimes lose their lives protecting the nation’s wildlands and adjacent communities. The Wildland Firefighter Foundation is a 501.c charity organization whose “main focus is to help families of firefighters killed in the line of duty and to assist injured firefighters and their families.” For more information please go to www.wffoundation.org

Our annual fundraising event consists of a 9-hole golf scramble followed by a dinner and silent auction. We are looking for support in the form of cash donations, auction item donations and corporate donation / hole sponsors. Proceeds go directly to the Wildland Firefighter Foundation. In appreciation of their support, we recognize those that help in various ways.  Some of the recognition comes in the form of a silent auction catalog with donor information.  We will also have signs at each sponsored hole with the proud corporate or family sponsor. Larger sponsors are recognized on the R2 Golf scramble webpage, (www.r2golfscramble.com), the annual donation letter to the Foundation and the R2 golf scramble Facebook page. Thank you for taking time to consider supporting the Wildland Firefighter Foundation and the nation’s wildland fire community.
