Evacuations Ordered for Fern Lake Fire
The Fern Lake Fire has grown to over 3500 acres near Estes Park. and evacuees are are waiting for updates at Estes Park High School. The good news is winds have died down but the bad news is extremely dry conditions .The fire has been burning since October 9th in steep and rugged terrain.
EVACUATIONS ORDERED
The Larimer County Sheriffs office reports evacuations have been ordered in Estes Park for:Highway 66 and all adjacent streets including the YMCA, High Drive, and all adjacent streets, Marys Lake Road up to Moraine Ave to Marys Lake on the West side Evacuees are at Estes Park High School at 1600 Manford Avenue in Estes Park Large animals may be taken to the Stanley Park Fairgrounds 1209 Manford Avenue.
