Did you know that Estes Park’s Historic Park Theatre dates back to 1913? It is the oldest movie theater in the U.S. built just for showing movies! That makes it the perfect venue to hold a silent movie festival, and that’s just what they’re doing this summer!

The Estes Park Film Festival, a non-profit dedicated to preserving the past and present accomplishments of the movie industry, will be hosting their 6th annual Silent Movie Festival in July and August of 2017. Every Friday night at 5 p.m. in July and August, gather the family at the Historic Park Theatre for some real old-time fun. Charlie Chaplin, Laurel & Hardy and Fatty Arbuckle are just a few of the legends that will take the screen! Plus, they’ll have a live piano to accompany the movies just like back in the day. Scott ‘Flyin’ Fingers’ Wilseck will be playing right by the stage, helping to make these silent movies come to life!

Tickets will be $10, with one child getting in for free with each paying adult. These will be fantastic Friday nights in Estes!  Let’s go!
