This just made my day so I had to share. A dog got trapped in a freezing pond in Lakewood Tuesday afternoon about 5:30 p.m. when the dog went chasing a coyote.
The dramatic rescue by this fire department was caught on video.
According to the West Metro Fire Department, his owner says the dog saw a coyote and took off across the reservoir and that is when the dog got stuck in the frigid water. The owner tried to get the dog out, but couldn’t and a witness called 911
