I have always done, or been a part of, a traditional Thanksgiving feast. This year I threw a monkey wrench into the holiday and let a Turkey live to see another day.

I could go on and on about thanking those in my life who have made me a better person but I won't. I will just say it's been all of you and for that I am truly thankful and lucky to have you in my life.

Today is not about the feast or what you're eating, it's who you are eating it with. My feast today is a good example. The kids wanted Lasagna, so that's what we had. And pie, lots of pie!

It doesn't matter if it's peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, turkey or ham...it's about being thankful you're eating at all and sharing time with those you care about and those who truly care about you.

I hope you enjoyed your time today with family and friends, and for those who can't be with us today, you are always with us in spirit.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
