I only knew Suzzanne Shaw for a few short years, but it was enough time know what a wonderful woman she was and the incredible work she did with Triangle Cross Ranch. Triangle Cross Ranch is a professional and loving, Christ-based assisted living home in Galeton, CO for intellectually disabled adults. Suzzanne recently lost her very brave battle with cancer.

I didn't feel like I could properly pay tribute to Suzzanne, so I asked her dear friend and co-worker, Danielle Krise to share her thoughts:

It is a great sorrow that the world has lost an incredible woman, she had the heart of gold! She devoted her life to The Lord our savior! She dedicated her life in helping people get to know The Lord, no matter what the person or persons had done in there life, never judged people, she always looked into their heart, she devoted her life into raising her four kids making them show respect others no matter what they have done.

She devoted her career to teaching kids in school and later home-schooled her own children.  She went on to be the executive director of the Triangle cross ranch, caring for the ranchers and their best interest, always putting them first before herself. She cared for her employees making sure that they were always taken care of. Her and her loving husband Tom devoted there time in making sure that anyone they came in touch with felt welcomed. together they created Odessy Rock Ranch. Raising alpacas and using the wool. She will be gratefully missed on this earth but never forgotten, she has touched many hearts and lives.

May  we always honor Suzzanne as a mother, friend, employer, mentor and child of The Lord. She could make someone that was having a bad day forget there problems in life and make them smile, even when she was fighting breast cancer she thought of others before her self even on her last days of life on earth! Heaven has gained a wonder godly women and angel. I know she is in heaven looking down on all of us!!! I can't wait for the day when we can be with her in heaven dancing together!

Thank you Suzzanne for being my friend, employer, supporter and mentor, you will always be in my heart and prayers.

In loving memory Danielle Krise
