McElwain has played a big part in an Alabama program that has gone 47-6 in his time there, including one national championship. The Crimson tied is also playing for another national title this year in the BCS title game in January against LSU.   McElwain is finishing his third season as Alabama's offense coordinator.  Alabama has averaged 36 points and 433 total yards per game this season.

The press conference today is scheduled for noon at CSU's indoor practice facility.
