Residents that left their homes last night as part of the precautionary evacuation were allowed to return to their homes this morning at 10:00 a.m.  Although roads are open to residents  the current roadblocks will continue to operate for the foreseeable future according to Larimer County officials.
Residents are asked to exercise caution when returning home and drive carefully. There is an increased number of emergency vehicles on the roads and with the latest precipitation the roads may be slippery.
Residents are reminded to limit travel on the roads during the operational shifts at 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Fire size remains at 3,200 acres, and containment at 15%. While lower temperatures and higher humidities are helping fire fighting efforts, the fire remains active and residents should remain prepared and vigilant.
